LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kourtney Kardashian has shared a video of her husband, Travis Barker, playing the drums to the sound of their unborn child's heartbeat while 'The Kardashians' star was in the delivery room. However, not everyone thought the moment was as endearing as she did.

Sunny Hostin joked on Friday, November 10's episode of 'The View' that if the Blink-182 drummer had pulled that stunt while she was giving birth, she would have hit him.

The co-host explained, "I love it for her. I personally would have wanted to punch him in the throat because when you are in labor and you are birthing, you need, like, zen."

Hostin, who shares daughter Paloma and son Gabriel with husband Emmanuel Hostin, pointed out that the mother is experiencing a lot of "pain" and "emotions" that could be made worse by the sound of drumming, as reported by Okamagazine.

She continued, "I just remember my son for his third birthday got a drum and I wanted to die. It's so loud. It's not calming!"

It is not just Hostin who found Barker's delivery room drill to be problematic. The musician was made fun of on social media, with some calling his antics "annoying."

A second person replied, "The greatest ick of all time." A third noted, "You know where those sticks would end up…"

The couple felt "so blessed" to welcome their firstborn son and a source said then, "She is happy to just be able to snuggle her baby boy now."

According to a source close to Kardashian, Barker "keeps being amazing" and is working hard to look after his wife while she heals. "He brings her favorite, healthy food to the hospital."

Along with their new baby, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star and her ex-partner Scott Disick share three children - Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8. With his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Barker has a stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, 24, and a son, Landon, 20, and daughter Alabama, 17.

But the mother-of-four had a scare a few weeks prior to the birth of Kardashian and Barker's child, which meant she had to be rushed to the operating room.

Kardashian wrote via social media at the time, "I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."

She continued, "As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn't prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear."

She added, "I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant."
