‘It’s all so hurtful and raw’

Now sources have claimed that the ‘Murder Mystery’ star has been feeling guilty they “hadn't stayed as close” and failed to do another get-together dinner after having one in 2019, The Mirror reported.

An insider reportedly said, “Jen, Courteney, Lisa, and the boys are grief-stricken.”

“They can’t believe he’s gone so soon and are desperately saddened they couldn’t do more, and that they hadn’t stayed as close. Right now, it’s all so hurtful and raw,” they shared.

‘She was the one that reached out the most’

Perry took his ‘Friends’ co-stars as his family and he even mentioned it in his book — ‘Friends, Lovers, And The Big Terrible Thing’.

He reportedly noted, “They were understanding, and they were patient,” before adding, “It’s like penguins. In nature, when one is sick or very injured, the other penguins surround it and prop it up and walk around until that penguin can walk on its own.”

The ‘17 Again’ star, however, gave a special mention to Aniston as he asserted in his memoir, “She was the one that reached out the most. I’m really grateful to her for that.”

‘She is trying to regroup and recover’

Meanwhile, the tipster further stated, “They became like brother and sister, and it was probably the closest relationship between any of the cast, bar Jen and Courteney, of course.”

“They hung out together during those early days, partied, and would even go as far as to seek each other’s opinions on who to date and what jobs to take,” the source said.

They continued, “Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courtney are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely. It’s the second massive loss in less than a year, with the one-year anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner."

“She still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet. She is trying to regroup and recover but it’s been a completely devastating blow,” the insider added.
