In the past, Matthew even thanked Jen for her proactive support during his difficult times. Aniston is credited as the one who first confronted him about his drinking among his 'Friends' co-stars when his struggle with addiction became apparent to her.

"Everyone wishes they could turn back the clock and give him a call or arrange a meet up for coffee," the source continued to disclose to the outlet, adding even then that the 'Friends' cast was in talks to hold an annual get-together to honor their late co-star.
